Scholar's Path

Made for Adventure Jam 2023

You are Dr Jonah Gilroy, a Scholar in a world ravaged by a global calamity.

Tasked with discovering the cause behind an unusual planetary disturbance, Dr Gilroy has travelled to the Atruvian Sea, to begin his study into the event. Using maps and journal entries scattered throughout the world, navigate and explore the Border Town and the areas around it via foot or Light Step, a dune walking device to speed up your travels. 

Controls:

• WASD for Movement.
• Spacebar to Jump.
• Shift to Sprint.
• E to Interact and for Next Subtitle
• Click to Select Player Dialogue Options
• Esc to bring up Menu & Journal

What to expect:

• 3rd Person Character controller
• a dune walker called a Light Step to speed up your travel.
• A story that guides you through the world with various dialogue opportunities
  
• 8 original songs/beats.
• 4 maps to help you navigate the world.
• 5 journal entries
• 3 different Exits options
